I Love You Because

Josephine produced the highly-acclaimed U.K. premiere of the Salzman/Cunningham musical I LOVE YOU BECAUSE. In the intimate surroundings of the Landor Theatre, a brilliant cast of West End regulars, which included Daniel Boys, Debbie Kurup and Lucy Williamson, under the direction of Rob McWhir, saw the show win the Whatsonstage award for Best Off-West End musical in 2008.

Josephine produced Back2Back – Claire Moore & Simon Hale in Concert at Carnegie Hall, NY. Claire was the original Christine in THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, sharing the role with Sarah Brightman, and the original Ellen in MISS SAIGON. She has appeared in numerous musicals and concerts around the world and realised her ambition to perform at Carnegie Hall, which she did in the company of her husband, composer and arranger, Simon Hale. With Oliver Manchon (Violin), Hiroko Taguchi (Viola) and Benjamin Kalb (Cello).

Marie Zamora

Josephine met Marie through her association with Alain Boublil with whom she worked on the extended workshop presentation of the Boublil/Schonberg/Legrand musical ‘Marguerite’. Marie trained in Paris and her extraordinary voice has seen her work around the world with a wide variety of musicians, including Michel Legrand and Michael Ball. Marie, although opera trained, has also performed in many musicals including Les Miserables and Kiss Me Kate. Josephine produced two concerts for Marie, one in London in the extraordinarily beautiful surroundings of Leighton House in Holland Park, and the other at Joe’s Pub in New York.
